Jinamoc Island

JINAMOC originally know as "Hinamok was a name given by the USN servicemen that occupied the island in 1944. Meaning Joint Intellegince Naval Air and Military Operation Center, also known as Brgy. Salvacion Basey, Samar.           
    Jinamoc once called "The Little City of Samar" because of several structure established by the USN 18th Engineering Battalion.  This island has an abandoned naval facility which was built by the American troops for their air and sea operations in the area during that time.
